Councilman John C. Cochrane Jr. holds up a citation for Estelle, a 102 year old veteran of the US Army.

August 12th, 2021 Islip Town Councilman John C. Cochrane Jr. attended the birthday celebration for Estelle Kaczanowski, who this year turned 102 years old. Estelle is a lifelong resident of West Islip, born August 11, 1919, and was part of the Babylon High School Class of 1937.

Supervisor Carpenter stands with Alyse Arpino, Executive Director of CM Performing Arts. The supervisor presents Alyse with a certificate to commemorate the re-opening of the performing arts center since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

August 10th, 2021 Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter attended the opening performance of “We Will Rock You” at CM Performing Arts in Oakdale. The play is a tribute to the musical group Queen, and features more than 20 of their top hits. This is CM Performing Arts’ 47th season, and the first since the COVID-19 pandemic.

August 5th, 2021 Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter, Councilmen John Cochrane, Jr., James O’Connor and Councilwoman Mary Kate Mullen, recently attended the Broadway Avenue Field ribbon cutting in Sayville, to celebrate the installation of new turf infields.
