– In a continued effort to prioritize public safety, the Town of Islip has partnered with the Suffolk County Police Department to conduct joint inspections at smoke and vape shops across Islip. These inspections aim to eliminate the illegal sale of cannabis and protect residents, especially youth, from unregulated and potentially dangerous substances. In the last week alone, officers have inspected nearly ten shops in Islip and issued several violations.

– Long Island MacArthur Airport is celebrating Breeze Airways’ announcement of another new nonstop destination from Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP). Beginning October 2, Breeze Airways will fly nonstop between ISP and Wilmington, NC (ILM)! This newest route brings Breeze Airways’ nonstop destination count to eight from Long Island MacArthur Airport.

– In response to community complaints and a history of illegally parked vehicles on Suffolk Avenue in Brentwood, Suffolk County Police Third Precinct officers partnered with Town of Islip Public Safety officials to remove more than a dozen illegally parked vehicles today.
