June 23rd, 2021 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter was joined by MacArthur Airport Commissioner Shelley LaRose-Arken, Deputy Commissioner Robert Schneider and representatives from Southwest Airlines, to pick the winning raffle for two free flights to Nashville, Tennessee. Southwest Airlines recently launched nonstop service from Long Island MacArthur Airport to Nashville, Tennessee.

June 22nd, 2021 – More than 200 cars attended the kick-off to the Town of Islip’s 2021 FREE Summer Drive-in Movie Night, for a showing of The Princess Bride at Byron Lake Park. Families from all over the Town made their way to the park to spend an evening under the stars and watch a classic movie loved by all ages.

June 17th, 2021 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter and Town Councilman James O’Connor recently joined with Keep Islip Clean (KIC) Director Nancy Cochran and other KIC officials, to unveil a new sign and beautification in Hauppauge at Bretton Wood Estates. This sign is one of many signs created by the Town of Islip sign shop, that ‘Welcome’ visitors, homeowners and passersby into hamlets throughout the Town, and exemplifies the Town’s longstanding partnership with KIC.
