September 15th, 2022 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter was joined by members of the Town Board to celebrate the contributions and accomplishments of 5 residents, as part of Hispanic Heritage Month. September 14th, 2022 – This week, U.S. Congressman Andrew R. Garbarino (R-NY-02) announced over $3 million in federal funding for Holbrook’s Main Street sewer project. The critical funding was secured as a Community Funding Project in the House of Representatives’ Fiscal Year 2023 appropriations bill, to advance a near-two-decade effort to secure sewer infrastructure in Holbrook. The project would span along Holbrook’s Main Street, creating jobs, and commercial, and residential development in Suffolk County and directly aiding in local economic development while protecting the environment on Long Island by reducing local reliance on cesspools.
