December 12th, 2019 – The Long Island Housing Partnership, in conjunction with Bartone Properties, conducted a Housing Lottery at Islip Town Hall this week. The lottery ranked over 70 applicants that have applied for consideration for an affordable apartment at Cornerstone Hauppauge.
December 12th, 2019 – Town of Islip employees gave generously, as they do each year, to the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. Employees selected their "angels" and purchased gifts according to each child's wish list.
December 12th, 2019 – The United Public Service Employees Union (UPSEU) donated toys to the Town of Islip's Toys for Tots Toy Drive coordinated by the Youth Bureau. Toys are distributed to underprivileged children within the Town.
December 10th, 2019 – Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter attended The Museum of American Armor 2019 Gala Dinner. Keynote Speaker Ambassador John R. Bolton spoke about honoring our heritage and those who have served, while educating a new generation of Americans.
December 10th, 2019 – Frozen, LI Ducks Mascot Quacker Jack, Frosty and the Grinch joined Supervisor Angie Carpenter, Islip Town Board members and local elected officials at the Islip Chamber of Commerce's annual Merry on Main Holiday Parade Saturday.
December 5th, 2019 – The lawn at Brookwood Hall played host to the 6th Annual Festival of Trees Wednesday, as community groups, service organizations, Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter and members of the Town Board turned out to decorate 40 Christmas trees.
