July 14th, 2020 – Construction of the new Town of Islip Animal Shelter continues to move forward, despite the NY Pause executive order during the COVID-19 public health crisis. The construction of the nearly 18,000sf state-of-the-art air conditioned facility has been considered essential throughout the pandemic.

July 13th, 2020 – Long Island MacArthur Airport’s West Terminal Apron is getting a face-lift. Construction began this week to remove and replace 28,000SY of concrete for the first time in 34 years. The project will take approximately four months, and is anticipated to be completed in the fall of 2020.
