December 11th, 2020– Town of Islip employees went above and beyond this holiday season, giving generously to the 2020 Salvation Army Angel Tree Program. Town staff adopted more than 60 “Angels,” and carefully selected toys, bicycles, dolls, clothing, games and more from each child’s wish list. November 30th, 2020 – Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter was joined by Town officials and members of the Town’s Public Safety division, to recognize a retiring veteran public safety officer recently. Sergeant Ed Carter, one of the Town’s first public safety officers, was celebrated with a traditional “walk-out.”

November 25th, 2020 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter, and the staff of the Town’s Division of Parks and Recreation and Cultural Affairs, were recruited by Santa and his elves to craft handmade decorations for the Town’s FREE Drive-In Movie Night, featuring ELF at Brookwood Hall on Friday, December 4th.
