March 30th, 2022 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter and Town Councilman James O’Connor hosted Girl Scouts from Troops 994 and 946 at Islip Town Hall recently, in celebration of Women’s History Month.

March 24th, 2022 – Town of Islip officials unveiled a new, state-of-the-art, 12,000 sf Ground Transportation Center (GTC) at Long Island MacArthur Airport today. The GTC centralizes all ground transportation to serve visitors and Long Island travelers with a more modern facility. Now rental cars, taxis, buses, auto transport, ride-hailing services, hotel courtesy shuttles and Suffolk Bus provides transportation services from the GTC.
March 21st, 2022 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter and Navy Veteran Councilman John C. Cochrane, Jr. paid tribute to 99-year-old WWII Veteran Nicholas Leo. Pvt. Leo joined the United States Army at 19 years old as a member of the 23rd Headquarters Special Troop.
March 9th, 2022 – Breeze Airways today announced one-time service to Louisville, Kentucky from Long Island MacArthur Airport for the Kentucky Derby.
March 4th, 2022 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter and Councilman James P. O’Connor presented a Citation of Recognition to Keep Islip Clean Executive Director Nancy Cochran upon her retirement after nearly 16 years of service to the Town.
March 4th, 2022 – Islip Town employees raised funds for cardiac health and research during February, Heart Health month, by wearing red and donating $5 to the cause. Supervisor Angie Carpenter presented a check on behalf of the members of the Islip Town Board and town employees, to the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation.
