August 23rd, 2023 – Welcome to the Town of Islip Small Business Community! Lasting Impressions Photography Studio opened at 1100 Prospect Ave. in West Islip recently. "We are so fortunate here in our wonderful Town to have a variety of small businesses to support, and that make shopping fun and enjoyable. August 21th, 2023 –– Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter and Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone were joined by community leaders and elected officials in breaking ground on a long-awaited project that will connect the Central Islip business district to the Suffolk County Sewer system.

August 10th, 2023 – Tuesday was National Pickleball Day, and what better way to celebrate than with the unveiling of 6 dedicated pickleball courts in the hamlet of Sayville. In addition, 4 new tennis courts were also unveiled at the ribbon-cutting event at Broadway Ave. Park.
August 14th, 2023 – Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Acceptance (IDEA) was the theme of a cultural festival hosted by the Town at the Islip Grange recently. The international craft, cuisine and cultural festival featured performances, international food and merchandise vendors.
