March 29th, 2024 – Welcome to the small business community of the Town of Islip!

Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter and Town Councilmen James O'Connor and John Lorenzo celebrated the grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Gem Fitness is located at 4580 Sunrise Highway, Unit #3 in Oakdale.

The Town of Islip takes immense pride in recognizing and celebrating the achievements, strength, and resilience of women from all walks of life. Their unwavering dedication, passion, and tireless efforts contribute to the rich tapestry of our Town, making it a better place for everyone.

7-Eleven Officials, Islip Tax Receiver Andy Wittman, and Community Members cut Ribbon at new location

March 18th, 2024 – Town officials were on hand to cut the ribbon to the doors of 7-11 on Sunrise Highway in Bayport. Receiver of Taxes Andy Wittman joined with family and friends of the proprietors to celebrate the latest grand opening in the Town of Islip.

March 15th, 2024 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter, joined by Receiver of Taxes Andy Wittman and Town Clerk Linda D. Vavricka, kicked off St. Patrick's Day celebrations by lighting the Town Hall cupola green. Suffolk County Legislator Tom Donnelly, representing Babylon Town, and members of the East Islip and Babylon Hibernians were also in attendance.
