March 28th, 2019 – Four female officers recently hired at Islip MacArthur Airport have changed the airport culture in the few months since they've joined the ISP team. The new officers were trained in part by Special Investigator Andrew Oliveri.
The affable foursome share their tech-savvy skills with veteran officers, and their infectious smiles are contagious among fellow officers and travelers. They'll be featured on the next episode of Channel 18/ITV's "Why I Love My Job," beginning Sunday, March 31 as part of March Women's History Month. The officers will also be featured in Newsday, Sunday, May 7th.
