October 11th, 2019 – Town of Islip DPW crews have been working around the clock to mitigate coastal flooding caused by the recent storm system that swept through the area. All storm-related equipment is being utilized until the flood waters recede.

“Our dedicated DPW crews respond at a moment’s notice to these types of weather events year-round. They work tirelessly to keep our residents safe,” said Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter.
