November 21st, 2022 – Keaton, a 2nd grader at Cherokee Elementary in Ronkonkoma, turned cardboard boxes into a haunted house Halloween costume, and was recognized by Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter and Madeline Sharrock, Executive Director, Keep Islip Clean (KIC) at Islip Town Hall recently.

Keaton submitted a photo of himself in his costume to the KIC and Town of Islip Halloween costume contest, and received a certificate for his winning entry in the Kindergarten through 6th grade category. Congratulations to Keaton!!!
