August 4th, 2021 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter was joined by Councilwoman Trish Bergin at a recent ribbon cutting ceremony for Sereen Hair and Beauty Boutique in Islip, and the launch of their newest program, Mondays at Sereen.
Mondays at Sereen offers clients affordable wigs and hair extensions to those who are undergoing cancer treatments or are experiencing medical hair loss such as Alopecia. Owner Nikeya Burnett has decades of experience in the hair and healthcare industries, and works closely with clients to ensure a stress-free process. The salon has an ongoing partnership with Mondays at Racine Cancer Care, to help patients feel confident and beautiful, in spite of their diagnosis.
