There is the potential for severe and damaging thunderstorms in our area today, Monday, May 16th, between the hours of 1PM to 9PM.
- Winds gusts are expected to reach in excess of 58 mph, posing significant risk of tree damage, downed trees and power lines, and power outages.
- Heavy rainfall could cause flash flooding.
- Large hail measuring 1 inch, as well as an isolated tornado are also possible.
Residents are advised to secure any outdoor objects that could be picked up by winds, and to exercise caution while traveling.
