On Grievance Day, June 30, 2020, the Board of Assessment Review (BAR) will meet to hear any complaints in the auditorium at 401 Main Street, Islip, New York. All Grievance Complaints will be reviewed in detail by the BAR -- appearance by the taxpayer is not required to file a Grievance Complaint or to have it reviewed. All taxpayers who wish to be heard on their Grievance Complaint may either appear in person or participate in a ZOOM Webinar Grievance Hearing on June 30, 2020 (instructions below).

To participate in the Grievance Day hearing, you must join the Zoom Webinar using the information below. Be sure to use the link for the current time of day as there are three separate hearings (morning, afternoon and night). Upon joining the Zoom Webinar, click on “Q & A” and enter your Grievance Complaint Number, as well as your name so that your Grievance Complaint can be available to the Board. The Host may contact you through the Chat feature if additional information is necessary. When it is your turn, you will be announced and unmuted to allow you to address the Board. If you need any help during the hearing, please contact the Host through the Chat Feature.
