Summer Fun Series Movie Night! Kung Fu Panda

Join our Town's Department of Parks, Recreation & Cultural Affairs at Casamento Park in West Islip this Monday, July 1st, for the first film in this year's summer movie series: Kung Fu Panda!Free Activities will begin at 6pm. Come participate in movie themed crafts & games, anti-bullying protection and demonstrations by Victory MMA, and meet your local merchants from the West Islip Chamber of Commerce. Food Trucks will be on scene to take your orders starting at 6pm.
The featured movie will start at approximately 8:40pm. Bring your chairs, blankets and friends, and don't forget your ninja moves! Admission is FREE!

Enjoy dancing, trivia, games, beach volleyball and a dinner buffet before sitting back to watch the setting sun and rising stars on your journey back to Islip. Join our Town's Department of Parks, Recreation & Cultural Affairs at at Hidden Pond Park in Islandia this Monday, July 8th, for the second film in this year's summer movie series: The Incredibles. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that due to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic and recent Executive Orders issued by the Governor, the Town of Islip Zoning Board of Appeals (the “Zoning Board”) Hearing scheduled for Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at 6:00 p.m., will be held electronically via Zoom Webinar instead of an in person public hearing and will be streamed live over the internet. The Town of Islip Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, and the Holbrook Chamber of Commerce will host the first-ever Blueberries & Blues Festival this Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Holbrook Country Club.
The festival will feature a Family Fun Zone, FREE crafts for kids, games, Big Bubble Fun, Food Trucks, craft vendors, and LIVE music. The Blueberries & Blues Festival takes place from 3 pm-9 pm.
Entertainment begins with Mr. Radio Blues Experience from 3 pm-5 pm; The Wiseman Live on 103.1 MAX FM from 5 pm-7 pm and Southbound from 7 pm-9 pm. Admission is FREE.
