Islip, New York — Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter was delighted to join her colleagues Islip Town Councilman Jorge Guadron, Town Clerk Linda Vavricka, and Receiver of Taxes Andy Wittman to recognize Brentwood St. Patrick’s Day Parade Grand Marshal Celia Vollmer.

Celia Vollmer is a dedicated long-time member of the Brentwood Community who was honored for her volunteerism with the American Red Cross, long-time service as a Community Outreach Clerk at the Brentwood Public Library, and many other philanthropic efforts.

“It was an honor to recognize Celia Vollmer for all of her dedication and care for our residents. Being named Grand Marshal is a testament to the lives that she has touched, and the lasting impact of her legacy in the Brentwood community and beyond,” said Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter.

The Brentwood St. Patrick's Day Parade will take place on Saturday, March 21st.
