Islip, NY – The Town of Islip welcomed a new Whole Foods Market to Holbrook today. Whole Foods opened a 43,000-square-foot store, located in the Shops at SunVet at 5801 Sunrise Hwy.The Holbrook store marks the eighth Whole Foods Market location on Long Island, with decor inspired by Long Island culture combining a unique blend of history, arts and coastal lifestyle.

Features of the new Holbrook store include: a prepared foods department; an array of certified organic, conventional and fresh produce and floral items; a specialty department dedicated to celebrating cheesemakers and artisan producers; a curated grocery section filled with exclusive brand favorites and products from local suppliers; a seafood counter providing expert fishmonger service, ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat meal solutions, and a variety of packaged smoked items. All offerings are either sustainable wild-caught or Responsibly Farmed. On site, shoppers will find a full-service meat counter, an extensive selection of 290 craft beers and ciders, 85 of which are local to the Northeast; a bakery department offering bread baked fresh daily as well as everyday favorites. The store also carries a wide variety of special diet items; a Wellness & Beauty department with a wide range of body care, beauty, lifestyle, and supplement products.

Products available at the Holbrook store feature more than 900 local items from the Northeast. Regular store hours will be 8 a.m. - 9p.m. daily.

Prime members who shop at Whole Foods Market have access to a number of benefits year-round, including deep discounts on select popular products each week and an additional 10% off hundreds of in-store sale items. Additionally, customers can pay in-store with the Whole Foods Market or Amazon app. The store will accept Amazon Returns and Grocery Pickup will be available shortly after opening.
