ISLIP, NY – December 15th, 2025 - Islip Town Receiver of Taxes, Andy Wittman, has announced that his office, located at 40 Nassau Avenue, Islip, NY is accepting payment of the 2025-2026 property taxes, starting Monday, December 8, 2025.

The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the following exceptions:

On December 24, December 25, December 31 and January 1, 2026, the office will be closed

"One evening in January has been set aside for those residents who are unable to pay in person during our regular office hours", said Mr. Wittman. "On Monday, January 12, 2026, the office will remain open until 7:00 p.m."

Tax bills are being mailed out during the week of December 8, 2025. Residents can choose to pay their taxes online, by visiting the Receiver of Taxes Online Payment Portal, https://Tax.IslipNY.gov. Payment may also be received by mail. However, to avoid penalty, all payments must be postmarked BY THE US POST OFFICE no later than January 12, 2026.
