A digital meeting will be held Wednesday May, 19th at 5:00 pm over Zoom, regarding the extension of the sewer district along Carleton Avenue in Central Islip. This sewer project is in furtherance of the Downtown Revitalization Initiative.

In order for the property owners and residents to understand the effects of sewer construction; the costs; the potential disruption to traffic and the potential benefits, the County and the Town will make a presentation at a zoom meeting on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 5:00pm.

Speakers should be limited to residents of the proposed district extension; property owners within the proposed district extension; public officials and local community groups or civic associations.

Unfortunately, public health covid concerns limit the number of people who can gather indoors; therefore, a general in-person meeting is not possible. Recognizing these concerns, Town officials will make themselves available before and after the zoom meeting to address individual questions. Please call Constituent Services, at 631-224-5380. If these representatives are unable to help you, they will refer your question to the appropriate Town or County official.
