January 6th, 2020 Hundreds of friends, family and colleagues turned out for the swearing-in ceremony of Town of Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter, Councilman John Cochrane, Councilwoman Mary Kate Mullen, Receiver of Taxes Alexis Weik and Town Clerk Olga Murray at Touro Law Center in Central Islip recently.

Supervisor Carpenter, Councilman O'Connor and Councilman Cochrane stand ready to present a Citation of recognition to the new Eagle scout.

January 7th, 2020 Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter joined with Islip Councilman John Cochrane, at the Eagle Court of Honor for the Councilman’s son, John C. Cochrane, V. The Eagle Scout project consisted of plantings around the submarine torpedo memorial at the Bay Shore Marina, a plaque honoring the USS Thresher and the USS Scorpion, and two benches, one dedicated to the memory of Daniel J. Kane and the other donated by the Bay Shore Lions Club.

December 20th, 2019 Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter, Councilwoman Mary Kate Mullen, along with members of the Town Board, recognized the women of the Bayport-Blue Point Varsity Field Hockey and Volleyball teams, for earning the Suffolk County Championship Titles in both sports recently.

December 20th, 2019 Islip Town Clerk, Olga Murray, is pleased to share her office’s caring efforts in preparing hundreds of seasonal greeting cards for both active and retired military members. The Town Clerk employees assisted American Legion Post 411 Rusy-Bohm Auxiliary members in their annual giving to the troops and military.
