March 6th, 2024 – Decorative lighting, pavers and a winding pathway were recently added at the Serenity Garden at Brookwood Hall. The garden will feature 4 quadrants dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of individuals with all abilities in our community. Each of the 4 quadrants will be designed with a specific group in mind, while encompassing features meant to heighten the senses.

The Serenity Garden is the first major renovation project of the Parks Foundation of Islip Town, a non-profit dedicated to ensuring the beautification of Town-owned and operated parks. The Town broke ground on the Serenity Garden in July 2023.
