July 5th, 2019 – Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter visited Ocean Beach to march alongside the Ocean Beach and Bay Shore Fire Department in the Fire Island Annual Fourth of July Celebration and Children's Parade. In honor of her 100th birthday, Natalie Katz Rogers, former Mayor of the Village of Ocean Beach, was presented with a crown, as Ocean Beach residents and parade participants celebrated our Nation's Independence.
