Islip, NY – Councilman Jorge Guadrón attended the Town of Islip Senior Health Fair at the Caesar Trunzo Senior Center in Brentwood recently. Catholic Health administered flu shots for our most vulnerable in the community and Northwell Health provided blood pressure screenings and nutrition education. More than 200 seniors attended. There were approximately 36 local agencies/ businesses in addition to Catholic Health and Northwell. The Town of Islip provided free transportation from all town senior centers to Caesar Trunzo for those residents interested in attending.

The Caesar Trunzo Senior Center is an important resource for Town of Islip residents aged 60 and above. Many programs are offered there to foster social interaction, recreation, and education. We thank Catholic Health, Northwell Health, and all the organizations who contributed to the fair to keep our seniors healthy.
