June 28th, 2023 – Emma Dean Stahl received a Girl Scout Gold Award for her beautification project at Edwin Boogertman Memorial Park on Division Ave. in West Sayville. Emma's project included clearing the grounds, a new garden box and new plantings.

"On behalf of the Town Board, we extend a heartfelt appreciation to Emma for her hard work to beautify this Memorial Park and congratulate her on achieving the highest honor in Girl Scouts," said Islip Supervisor, Angie Carpenter.
