June 21st, 2023 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter joined with family, friends and members of the Bay Shore Fire Department to welcome home U.S. Navy Second Class Petty Officer Eric Lyman, CM2, from his year-long deployment in Djibouti, Africa. Lyman is also a former Captain with the Bay Shore Fire Department.

Eric was greeted by his wife Kristen, their two daughters, parents, siblings, nieces and nephews at his arrival at Long Island MacArthur Airport.

“On behalf of the entire Islip Town Board, ‘Welcome Home’ Eric,” said Supervisor Angie Carpenter. “Thank you for your service not only to our great Nation, but also to our community as a member of the Bay Shore Fire Department,” said Supervisor Carpenter.
